Caveat Emptor!
Saying that “Business is Fraud” is a blanket statement. It is a useful generalization to keep in mind so that we all protect ourselves.
Of course not all businesses are scammers. But the very nature of “Business”- with its general lack of ethics and morality leads to a preponderance of misdeeds that range from misleading advertising to outright criminal activity!
In general we admire “entrepreneurs” and love “Ma and Pop businesses”. But in general voracious monopoly capitalists control commerce and business. Mega-corporations tend to either buy out or push out honest businesses.
Worse yet is the growing degradation of the essence of “Entrepreneurship”. No longer do inventive, creative, brilliant people with better ideas create businesses with the hope they will flourish. Instead start-up companies have become nothing more than schemes to float and exciting product/idea/model for the purpose of becoming an attractive entity to be bought-out and consumed by a large business. Thus merely cashing-in on the venture, rather than expecting any real business lifecycle or service to the community!
